We offer coed or mixed dorm accomodations that sleep no more than four to a room.   Here we are mean on clean and our reputation speaks for itself. Our hostel really is the first of its kind anywhere. We are a unique style of hostel and a much needed change from the commercial, less personal, 'I only want your money' style of hostel in New York today. Come on by, we won't disappoint!   This newly renovated hostel is located in Uptown Manhattan (Harlem) and offers state-of-the art amenities and services. Best of all, there is a kitchen, bathroom, and lounge space in the same unit that houses the booked bed for hostel guest!   What does this mean? You will never feel paranoid because of overcrowding and because we are smaller a high level of cleanliness is easier to maintain, and you and your friends can enjoy New York in style and in peace while on a budget.   We provide a free continental breakfast at weekends and are located 2 blocks from the 3 Express Train. From here travel to major tourist attractions is quick and convenient. Wegbeschreibung

Getting to the hostel is easy. Take the 3 train (red line) into Manhattan to the 145th Street metro station. Once you come out of the train exit, make sure you head south to 143th Street, where Rita's Apartment hostel is located right at the corner of 143rd street &amp, Lenox Avenue. The address is 101 West 143 Street, NY. NY.

Urgent! If you are traveling by 3 train to the hostel, make sure you get into one of the first (1st) four train cars to get off at 145th Street!

A note, if your flight arrives anytime after 10pm or 22:00hr, a taxi will get you to the hostel on time before the close of check in at the hostel.
