Set in two rennovated 19th century townhouses, Chelsea Inn has the feel of an old country home. The guestrooms are generously large for NY and the studios and suites are huge.   Chelsea Inn is a four storey walk-up building (no elevator) which offers a choice of suites and studio rooms, all with private baths, or guestrooms with semi-private bathrooms (shared with one other guestroom). All rooms come with refrigerator, coffee maker and sink. Silverware & plates are available upon request, a happy extra if you are on a tight budget.   Continental breakfast is included in the price and is served by ‘Nana's Treats,’- the charming 'to-go' coffee shop next door. Breakfast is served from 7 am to 10 am and includes freshly baked baked pastries, coffee or tea, juice or fruit. From any airport you may take a taxi or private one, just make sure you will be quoted the right price: from JFK and Newark to any place in Manhattan rates are $45 plus toll, from LGA airport rate is $30.00 plus toll.
There are different shuttle services to and from the airport you may take, the cost is lower then taxi:
Airlink- cost per person is $17.00
Blue van- also costs $17.00
From Grand Central- we are only one stop away by number &quot,4&quot, train- downtown, you get of at the Union Square station
Penn Station is also few minutes away from us by &quot,F&quot, train
From Port Authority (Bus Terminal) you may take number &quot,1&quot,, &quot,2&quot,,&quot,3&quot, to 14 street station.
