We at the DownTown Hostel are in the business of accommodating budget minded travelers in a safe, friendly and fun environment. We welcome all guests with afternoon tea, free internet, 24-hour common area and kitchen with cable TV. We also have two 24 hour hot showers, free linen, and no hidden charges of any kind. We offer free cable TV in our double and triple accommodation rooms. Our goal is to make your stay hassle free and memorable. Throughout the years, we have acquired the skill of making our guests feel that they are at a home away from home.   The Downtown Hostel is big apartment located in downtown of city equipped to accommodate as many as 21 people. Our rooms are divided into two 4 bedded mixed dorms, two 4 bedded female dorms, one 3 bed room and one 2 bed room.We also offer 2,3,4 and 5 bed ensuits whitch are apartments located near hostel. All these rooms are always kept clean and are spacious.   The Downtown Hostel is located by very convenient transportation access, just one block away from the Kalvin ter Metro stop. We are just two blocks away from the famous Vaci street area. The Citadell and the Gallert Baths are just a few minutes by foot away from our front door as is the Danube, St Stephens Basilica and the Opera House. There are plenty of things to see and plenty of nightlife establishments in our area. This is the reason we have no curfew and a 24-hour common area with cable TV. We boast a no-hidden-charges policy and we also have flexible check out times. This is something that is rarely seen at other establishments of accommodation.   *This hostel is not the best place for OLD PEOPLE and CHILDRENS. Wegbeschreibung

We are located on Kiralyi Pal Utca 5-7. This is one block away from the Kalvin Ter blue line metro stop.

If you are coming from the Kelet i(EASTERN) train station just go to the lower level of the station and take the metro red line to Deak Ferenc tér(3 stops), from there take the blue metro line to Kalvin Ter. (2 stops). Take exit on Vámház körút (right hand side)and walk till first corner, take right (Királyi Pal utca) and walk till BORSSO BISTRO pub. We are at opposite side at number 7, 1st. floor (ring 8)

If you are coming in by the Nyugati (western) train station just take the blue line to Kalvin Ter (4 stops). Once at Kalvin Ter come to the corner (towards the bridge on Vámhaz körút) and hang a right on Kiralyi Pal Utca. We are one block away from the corner, right across the street from the famous old Amsterdam bar.
