Independence Square Hostel in Kiev

Independence Square Hostel is a German & Ukrainian owned and run hostel which provides a friendly, helpful and efficient service.   The Hostel has 4 rooms and is designed for a friendly personal experience as opposed to that of an expensive hotel.   Guests are welcome to bring friends, however it is a hostel policy that they cannot stay overnight. We promise you the best quality and the best location for a low price in Kiev.   Our hostel in Kiev was purchased with the idea of being a good hostel that we would like to stay in ourselves, this is why everything is so at hand and relaxed.

From the Train Station:

First Option - walk out of the Central Train station, walk 500 meters straight forward towards the horse monument, then turn right and walk all the way down to Bessarabka Market (about 20 minutes). Walk around Bessarabka market and then walk 50 meters up the street (Krutyi Uzviz). The first street on the right will be our street. Our hostel is located between the Post Office and a Grocery store in the building number 12. Then follow the sign: Independence square for backpackers.

Second Option - Take metro at Vokzalna and get off at Kreshatik station (3 stops). When you get on to the Kreshatik street (main street of Kiev) turn left and walk for about 10 minutes towards Bessarabka Market. Then walk up behind and the first street on the right will be our street. Then look for building no.12. Then follow the sign: Independence square for backpackers.

From the airport:

Take Atass bus to Metro Kharkivska (first stop from the airport). Take metro and go to Kreshatik stop. Change lines at Zoloti Vorota to Teatralna. Then follow the instruction above or look at the map!

From the main/international bus station:

Walk to Lubydska metro stop (10 minutes). Take metro and go to Kreshatik stop. Change lines at Zoloti Vorota to Teatralna.Then follow the instruction above or look at the map!
