Central Square Hostel in Lviv

Lviv attracts people from all walks of life, but one thing every one of them has in common is adventurous spirit borderlining romanticism. In Central Square Hostel we try to go along with that — offering location right in the heart of Lviv, trying to recreate Lviv-ish interior in our building, which itself is breathing of history and untold ancient stories. To compliment that, CSH is very modern — we’ve got all necessary facilities, big private lockers, Wi-Fi, new, comfortable and only one-level beds!   Being internationally minded Ukrainians, we traveled a lot, staying in hostels ourselves and can relate to anybody paying a visit to a foreign country. We are quite aware of our customers and their expectations of a trustworthy hostel and will be as helpful as possible not only with your stay in CSH, but also with your travels around our beautiful city and, if you wish, our charming country.   Included in price are:   • A bed and access to all hostel facilities, • Bed linens and a towel, • WiFi, • Free map of Lviv, • Breakfast food (muesli and milk), tea, coffee.   Hostel facilities:   • Shower and toilet (separate), • Fully equipped kitchen (refrigerator, gas stove, microwave, electric tea pot, kitchenware and utensils), • Washing machine and detergent.   Services upon request:   • Transfers to/from the airport, • Tours of the city, • Trips around Lviv region (castles, sights, tailor-made life-style tours).

Wegbeschreibung

Considering that we are located in the very heart of the city, right at Lviv’s central square, everyone, even a tourist, will be able to tell you where your lodging is.

From the TRAIN STATION, take the number 1 tram to Plosha Rynok sq. (????? ?????) We are building number 5, right by the famous attraction, the Italian Courtyard (??????????? ??????). When at the building, simply proceed one run up the stairs or follow the signs. It is very easy.

Please note: trams cost 1 Ukrainian Hryvnia. Tram tickets (’kvitki’) are purchased on board from the driver and must be validated!

From the main BUS STATION, take ‘Marshrootka’ (Small Bus for 1.50 UAH) number 71 to the center. Simply print our map and indicate our location to the driver or ask for ‘Shevchenko Monument’ which is on the main boulevard called ‘Prospect Svobody (???????? ???????). There you will see a watchtower with a flag - that is the hallmark of Plosha Rynok (????? ?????), Lviv’s central square where our hostel is located. Walk perpendicular to Prospect Svobody towards the tower. Couple minutes on the hallmark cobblestone streets and you made it. From the AIRPORT take trolley bus number 9 to Ivano Franko University. Go around the building from the left side, walk to the end of the Sichovyh Striltsiv Str (???. ??????? ?????????), and make a right. You will walk into Lviv’s main avenue, Prospect Svobody (???????? ???????) with Taras Shevchenko Monument. TAXIS from the train station are approximately 30 UAH, from the bus station 40 UAH, and from the airport they range 40 to 50 UAH. Negotiate the price prior to departure.
