Backpacker East Africa's mainstay service is to bring the two parties together into a mutually beneficial relationship where the tourist traveler or Volunteer enjoys the low prices associated with homestay accommodation, while the host family in return also earns some money to subsidize their commonly low incomes by offering the accommodation. The bond borne of such cultural exposure and experience has fostered friendships, new understanding and respect in this truly global village we now live in. Homestays are particularly suitable for budget travelers and Volunteers on extended stays that involve interests of a cultural and social bias yet working on a limited, low budget. The low prices charged and the degree of community interaction, involvement and participation makes it ideal.   From these beginnings we have over time in response to demand on the market evolved to incorporate other package services like Hotel booking and reservation, Airport pickups, City Guiding, and whatever other service or reasonable request our guest may have in mind for the optimization of their comfort and convenience of stay in Uganda. We are more than obliged to be of service.

Wegbeschreibung

From the Airport (Entebbe) one turns off Entebbe Road at the Kibuye roundabout onto Masaka road. At Kabuusu, Rubaga which is 2 km after the Kibuye turn off, branch off onto Sembule road. The signpost will get you there after 1 km.
Alternatively one can continue on with Masaka road for another kilomter after Kabuusu to Nalukolongo whereupon one turns onto Mutundwe road at the market. You will be led there 1 km away by the signpost. There are other locations too.
