Plus Prague sets an amazing standard for hostels, not just in Prague, but Europe as a whole!   *scroll down for New Year's Eve Special.   Just three quick stops on the metro from Prague's historic and stunning city centre. We boast a free indoor swimming pool (open until October, 31st) & sauna to sweat off some of that fantastic Czech beer!   When you arrive we will give you a free welcome drink at the bar! All you need to is ask reception for a voucher when you check-in and just remember to say thank you!   Our rooms are big, bright and airy with huge windows to let in the Czech sunshine. Better yet, all the rooms have an ensuite shower and a separate WC. There are free crisp white bed linen and cozy fleece blankets.   Our on-site restaurant serves updelicious local and affordable meals (even on a backpacker's budget), and an awesome bar to party with people from all around the world.   Unique to Plus Prague is ' Plus Girls'. This 'girls-only' space allows you to forget you're a backpacker and be a girl again. There are big bathrooms, cosmetic tables with large mirrors and hairdryers. When you check in you'll receive a nice fluffy towel to use during your stay with us and a complimentary cosmetics bag stuffed with goodies for you to take along.   To make sure you can make the most of your time, our friendly and knowledgable Plus Port Travel Desk staff can tell you all about walking tours, pub crawls, haunted castles and spooky cemeteries, brewery tours, trips on the river, bike rental, a good park to stop for a picnic and even a trip to a church decorated with bones.   Additional info: Check-in is from 3pm and check-out is by 10am.     Money Matters: For your added security we use a chipcard payment system in the hostel. On arrival you are issued with an electronic chipcard that you use to enter your room as well as for payment inside the hostel. You will need the card to pay for food and drinks from the bars and restaurant. The card is rechargeable at reception only by cash. Any value left on the card is refunded back to you on departure.   Currency Rates & Payment: Please note we can only accept Czech Koruny for final payments for your bed at the hostel. All beds sold are priced in Czech Koruny. By all means you may pay your initial deposit in the currency of your choice i.e Euros or US Dollars online, but final payment must be made in Czech Koruny as per your booking.   While we are only too happy to change Euro into Czech, please note that this will be at the market rate that is set by the hostel and will differ from the rate when you paid your deposit online as market rates fluctuate on a daily basis.   Please check which currency you are making your booking in online.   ***Birthday Promotion*** Plus Prague has just turned 2! So to celebrate we are giving away a free night to anyone who wants to celebrate their birthday with us!! It's very simple, all you need to do is make a booking for a minimum of 2 nights and as long as your birthday falls on one of those days we will not charge you for that night!! The public transport in Prague is well organized, efficient and very easy to use ?

From the airport:
Take the Airport Express bus (price 50czk, runs every 30 minutes from the arrival hall) to Hlavní Nádraží (Prague central railway station).
At Hlavní Nádraží change to the metro (red line C). Buy a 26czk travel ticket (this will be good for both the metro and tram journey). Validate your ticket in the yellow boxes before going down to the metro platform. Take the metro in the direction of “Let?any”, and get off at “Nádraží Holešovice” (3 stops).
Alternatively you can buy a 26CZK ticket at the yellow automat at the bus stop in front of the terminal and take the bus number 119, validate your ticket in the yellow box on the bus, it will be valid for the whole journey to the hostel. At the final stop transfer to the Metro green line (A) and take the metro train to Muzeum. Here you will need to change to the (red line C) and head in the direction of “Let?any” to “Nádraží Holešovice” (4 stops).
At “Nádraží Holešovice” turn left when you step off the train carriage and go up the escalator. Exit from the front, cross the tram rails to the other side of the road and from there take any tram and go one stop to “Ortenovo Námestí”.
At the “Ortenovo Námestí” tram stop, you will see the Hotel Plaza Alta on the opposite corner, walk down this street. You can see the hostel from here on your left side, just a 2 minute walk from tram stop to hostel.

Or alternatively, official airport taxis operate from in front of the terminals 24hours, be careful to agree the price before getting into the taxi, the usual rate is 500 -600CZK to the hostel.


From the central railway station (“Hlavní Nádraží”):

From the central bus station (“Florenc”):
At Florenc take the metro (red line (C)). Buy a 26czk travel ticket (this will be good for both the metro and tram journey). Validate your ticket in the yellow boxes before going down to the metro platform. Take the metro in the direction of “Let?any”, and get off at “Nádraží Holešovice” (2 stops).
At “Nádraží Holešovice” turn left when you step off the train carriage and go up the escalator. Exit from the front, cross the tram rails to the other side of the road and from there take any tram and go one stop to “Ortenovo Námestí”.
At the “Ortenovo Námestí” tram stop, you will see the Hotel Plaza Alta on the corner, walk in this direction. You can see the hostel from here on your left side, just a 2 minute walk from tram stop to hostel.


From the International Railway Station (“Nádraží Holešovice”) by Tram:
Many trains from Vienna &amp, Berlin stop at Nádraží Holešovice Station which is less than a 10 minute walk or 1 tram stop from Plus Prague Hostel.
Walk to the main exit south of the platforms, walk straight ahead through the covered walkway and head into the tunel (there's a large McDonalds sign above the tunel entrance). At the tunel exit turn right and walk past the bus stops to your left to the front of the main entrance of the metro station, where the trams pass and there is a McDonald. Cross the tram rails to the other side of the road and from there take any tram and go one stop to “Ortenovo Námestí”. Remember to buy an 18 Kc ticket first, which must be validated in the yellow box on the tram.
At the “Ortenovo Námestí” tram stop, you will see the Hotel Plaza Alta on the corner, walk in this direction. You can see the hostel from here on your left side, just a 2 minute walk from tram stop to hostel.

From “Nádraží Holešovice” it is possible to walk (maximum 10 minutes) to the hostel by turning left from the metro station and following the tram tracks to the Plaza Alta Hotel.

Walking from the “Nádraží Holešovice” train station to the hostel:
Walk to the main exit south of the platforms, at the covered walk way with shops turn left and head east across the car park towards the main street (Vrbenskeho) follow the road in the same direction untill you see the green Plaza Real Alta hotel on the corner. Turn left on this street (Ortenovo Namesti). Walk straight along past the park to your left hand side and cross the small street, the hostel is the biggest building ahead on the left of the street.
