For the more adventurous, there are hikes, bamboo rafting, and elephant safaris. The hotel is also near the Ping River, source of the more well know Chao Phraya, and at least one meal should be had on board a cruise. If you wish to return home with some unique souvenirs, you should take a trip to the handicraft villages, and pick from silk and cotton weaving to wood carving.
