Jambiani is in many ways an unspoiled village and it is wonderful to see and follow the local people in their daily life, whether it is on the beach-in the village or on The Indian Ocean. Most of the people live of the nature, and what it offers. It can be fishing, to grow seaweed in the seaand tourism. Much of the daily life is going on on the beach, where the school is located too. the coral reef is not far away from the beach and when the water is low you are able to walk out to the reef (15 minuts) and you have lots of possibilities to discover the richness of the fish and plants.
