Most of the area within the city limits of Sokcho is mountainous. The crowning glory of the area is Mt. Seoraksan (main peak: Daechoeonghong of 1,708 meters) with the ridgeline of the Taebaek Mountains.   In south of the city, branches of Mt. seoraksan - Dalmabong Peak(635m), Mt Jubongsan (338m), Mt Cheongdaesan(230m) form hilly areas, where the two rivers originating from Mt. Seorakan fiow into the city. At the mouths of these two rivers are the lagoons: Yeongnangho Lake and Cheongchoho Lake. These lagoons are of academic and scientific interest and boast uncommonly beautiful scenery. They are the major tourist attractions in Sokcho.

We are just 10 minutes walk from the terminal.
Go right from the bus terminal and walk downhill towards the sea. Take the second right and walk along the main street to the bus stop/telephone box, then turn right and you're welcome to The House Hostel!
