Aprox. 500 mt from the Geriba beach, surfing and most enchanting people. The town of Buzios (peninsula) is surrounded by 23 beaches. The pousada is only 5 min. from downtown Buzios where the famous Rua das Pedras (peble street) is located, this is where everything great happens. If you are looking to have a great time, this is the place.

In our restaurant, we serve a spectacular colonial breakfast with breads, cakes, yoghurt, cream cheese, sweet rice, “rabanada” (a very popular food in Brazil, principally in Christmas. It is prepared with bread, sugar and cinnamon), “canjica” (it’s a very popular food too. It is prepared with milk and corn), egg, nothura’s egg, hot dog, ham, cheese, juices, several types of fruits, milk candy, marmalade, etc.

We serve too delicious meals with a very brazilian taste, that is found on fishes, shrimps, several types of meat.

From the Rio de Janeiro International Airport 170 km (2 h 50 min. ride) north to Buzios. Buses leave every 30 min from the central interstate bus station Novo Rio in Rio or you can contract a transfer directly from the airport which will drop you off at the pousada door. Arriving in Buzios, comming by a regular bus service, ask to be dropped off at TREVO DA BARBUDA, you will find the Vieira Camara Street, come up the street and turn in your 1st left at the Bougainville Street, come down 100 mts and you will find Pousada Alcobara.
