We want to invite you to such a good place, staying wherein, we are sure, will bring lots of warm memories to your heart. It's a pretty positive and friendly place by its energy for every traveler, for your tired legs and lively and enquiring mind.   Spanish word 'estancia' means 'ranch', where gauchos, South American cowboys, are living. Here you can get vivid adventures or, conversely, time for serenity and laying down under a glorious canopy of stars, chilling out in a hammock. We offer personal atmosphere, here you will get in touch with the owner, David Cummings, calling himself jokingly 'English Gaucho' and warm staff.   Once you have settled in to your room, you are free to do whatever you want. All the facilities and activities we offer are at your service and included in the price.   Even more, in summer you can jump into the swimming pool with splashes!!! In winter you can have pleasant evenings nearby enormous log-burning fireplace, sharing a glass of wine with fellow guests or relax with a good book.   Also you may have a potential opportunity to supply estancia with milk by your own hands. Get up early in the morning and we will give you master class in milking our cows. They will be extremely grateful to you for relaxing massage, and our staff, cats and guests – for the breakfast milk.   We at the estancia will do all we can to make sure your stay at La Margarita is an experience you will remember for the rest of your life, that is our promise to you. Driving Directions for La Margarita

***Please note, that Google Maps shows location only of town Tapalque. For our real location please refer to the property's map and directions below***

•Take the Autopista Ricchieri (the main highway for Ezeiza Airport) out of central Buenos Aires, it can be picked up either from Nueve de Julio or Nunez.

•Follow the Autopista (Ruta 3) until you see a sign for Cañuelas (Ruta 205).

•Follow the sign for Cañuelas to Ruta 205.

•Follow Ruta 205 for about 130 kilometres until you arrive in Saladillo.

•A few kilometres past the entrance to Saladillo is a large roundabout. Take a left onto the Ruta 51, signposted Tapalqué. Continue on Ruta 51. Eventfully you will pass the entrance to the town of Gral Alvear.

•22 kilometres past Gral Alvear, you will cross Arroyo Tapalqué (there will be a sign on the right).

•12 kilometres past the Arroyo Tapalqué you will see on your left Estancia La Mercedes (once part of the land of La Margarita).

•17 kilómeters ahead from the Arroyo Tapalqué, you will see a sign on your right for Campodónico, Cacharí, and Rauch. Take left onto the route for these towns and you will be on a wide gravel dirt road.

•Follow this route for 6 kilometres, and you will pass a small white school on your left (Escuela 18).

•Follow the road to your left and continue for about 3 kilometres at which point the road takes a sharp right hand bend.

•Once past the bend, continue for about 1 kilometer. On your left you will see two white columns and two small fir trees. This is the entrance to La Estancia La Margarita. Welcome!
