In our large spacious kitchen you can indulge in your favourite pastimes, chilling at the bar, lazing by the fireplace, prepare your favourite meal while watching DSTV, or enjoy our spacious braai facilities. You can relax on the enormous stoep or climb into a quiet hammock on one of our lawns. We boast of having one of the largest in city camp sites in Cape Town, catering for vehicle and tents, safe and secure.   The Backpackers dorms are perfect for Volunteer Accommodation (60 pax), sporting groups, school groups, group stays, business and self drives -- we are regularly used by Volunteering Organizations such as Habitat For Humanity, ect. We offer a range of accommodation: 2 bed, 4 bed, doubles and family rooms. Broken stays do not qualify. If your stay does not qualify you for the free pick-up, we will be happy to arrange an Airport shuttle at backpacker prices on your behalf. Trips to the airport are for your account, reception will book on your behalf.   1. The Lodge grants to the Guest the right to revoke the Contract at any time. In this respect, the following provisions shall apply: i. Bookings for groups or individuals: cancellations made by the guest respectively on the part of the intermediary person or organization are free of charge up to 90 days before expected arrival. For cancellations made within 90 days prior to arrival the following cancellation fees apply, these fees also apply for bookings made within 90 days of expected arrival: a. For Cancellations made 89 to 40 days before expected arrival, 30 per cent of the agreed-upon total price will be due. b. For cancellations made 39 to 10 days before expected arrival, 50 per cent of the agreed-upon total price will be due c. For cancellations made 9 to 1 day(s) before expected arrival, 100 per cent of the agreed-upon total price will be due. d. Guests who either cancel on the day of their expected arrival or simply do not show up will be charged the agreed-upon total price in full. e. Above cancellation conditions also apply if the number of persons is reduced at least 10 per cent within this period of time. A reduction of less than 10 per cent is free of charge 1 day prior to arrival.

Wichtige Hinweise

A non refundable 50% deposit of your entire accommodation bill,would be required to secure your reservation, since we operate on a first come first serve basis. Balance of payment to be made on check-in. Confirmation of booking will follow upon receipt of deposits. After booking you will receive an email with instructions on how to pay this.

DIRECTIONS TO LODGE

From the Airport:
* 10/15 min. from the Airport:
- Take the N2 towards Cape Town,
- Turn off at Exit 10B Raapenberg Road (Pinelands).
- From Raapenberg Road, at the first traffic light, turn left into Alexandra Road. (Left towards Vincent Pallotti hospital)
- (Opposite Pinelands Railway Station) Left into Oude Molen Eco Village,
- Once in village, turn left , look for our sign board on the building on the right, 10 m from the entrance.

From Cape Town Central:
* 10 min. from the Cape Town Central:
- Take the N2 towards Airport,
- Follow the signs to the Airport on Settlers Way.
- Take Exit 10 Raapenberg Road (Pinelands).
- From Raapenberg Road, at the first traffic light, turn left into Alexandra Road. (Left towards Vincent Palloti hospital)
- Left into Oude Molen Eco Village,
- Once in village, turn left and look for our sign board on the building on the right, 10 m from the entrance.

From Stellenbosch Wine route:
* 30 minutes from the Stellenbosch Wine Route:
- Take the N1 towards Cape Town,
- Take Exit 7 Koeberg Interchange to get onto the M5 to Muizenberg.
- From the M5 take the Airport off-ramp, keep left,
- Take the Pinelands off-ramp to Raapenberg Road,
- Turn left into Alexandra Road.
- Left into Oude Molen Eco Village,
- Once in village, turn left and look for sign board on the building on the right.
