We can arrange a visit to the Botanical Gardens located on 20 beautifully landscaped acres and overlooked by the Governor General's home. It is the oldest botanic garden in the Western Hemisphere, started in 1765, home to several rare and indigenous Vincentian parrots, and there is a special breeding program underway to increase their numbers.

These colorful little birds dwell no where else but in the Vincentian rain forest, and are an endangered species. Other tours can take you into the mountains and through the verdant rainforest. An experienced Trail Guide will inform you about our Historical Sites, Nature and Wildlife. You can visit the volcano at the northern tip of the island. Nearby is the famous Falls of Baleine. St. Vincent is an ecotourism’s paradise. Visitors can enjoy unspoiled wilderness and native flora and fauna in areas set aside as historical interest. Stargazing is extraordinary!

St. Vincent and Bequia both have modern airstrips with night landing equipment allowing more flexible flight schedules. There are small air strips on Canouan, Mustique and Union Island. The surrounding islands of Barbados, St. Lucia, Martinique and Grenada are served from international destinations by Air Canada, American Airlines, Air France, BWIA and British Airways, and as well as seasonal charter services. American Eagle operates a scheduled service between San Juan, Puerto Rico and Canouan. LIAT and Caribbean Star provide scheduled services whilst SVG Air, TIA and Air Mustique are available for charter to St. Vincent and the Grenadine Islands from these international airports. Grantley Adams Airport in Barbados has a help desk in the arrivals hall open from 1:00PM to 8:00PM specifically to assist passengers making connections to St. Vincent and the Grenadine islands.
