LOCATION   We are about 15 minutes distance from Plaza Cataluña -Barcelona’s main square- connected night and day to all locations and touristic spots, and just besides Passeig de Gracia, the fanciest avenue with two of the most beautiful Gaudi’s buildings.   For any doubts about the city, our reception team has all your answers and artistic map drawing skills so you won’t get lost! We know all the city secrets and can tell you the best places to go as well as the best places to eat.   NEIGHBORHOOD DESCRIPTION   Sant Jordi Diagonal is located in a modernist building in the heart of Eixample district and has all you need to make your stay relaxing – or a big party. The neighbourhood has fancy stores & cafes.   TYPE OF ROOMS   We have mixed dorms with comfy mattresses, to be shared with 2 to 10 people.   FACILITIES   With a brand new common area, recently refurbished, with DVD’s, sound system, books, a guitar and cable TV –with more than a hundred channels- you can rest your feet on our comfy couches, chill and forget the hours that spent wondering our magnificent city.   If you prefer, you can use our kitchen -totally equipped, that has two fridges, an electric oven and a toaster, everything to feel up your necessities–. So all you need to bring are your own gastronomical skills. We offer also free tea and coffee to make your days warmer in the cold season.   Besides all of that, you also have laundry facilities, towels, a three-euro-breakfast, internet access free of charge, free lockers and free storage room, male and female showers and cleaners that work every morning, ensuring the facilities are spotless.   You cannot forget, however, that Barcelona is known for its nightlife. We regularly organize parties within our chain of hostels so a good night out is a surety. The nearest metro station is DIAGONAL, on line 5 (blue) and also line 3 (green), just two blocks from the hostel and just one block from Passeig de Gracia Avenue.

- Coming from GIRONA AIRPORT:
Take the Barcelona Bus from the airport to Barcelona Nord Bus Station (final destination). Once there you can either take a taxi to the hostel (it shouldn’t be expensive not being too far away but it depends on the taxi driver) or take the metro stop 'Arc de Triomf' (red line). The station is just in front of the bus station. Hop out in 'Catalunya' metro station &amp, transfer to the line 3 (green) to 'Diagonal' metro station, where you can exit and walk to the obelisk standing in the middle of the avenue. Turn right on Diagonal Avenue, walk one block and look for number 436. You need to cross to the opposite side of the street!

- If coming from EL PRAT AIRPORT (BCN main airport):
Take the “Aerobus” from the airport to Plaza Catalunya. Once in Plaza Catalunya catch the metro line 3 (green) to 'Diagonal' metro station. From the metro stop walk up until the obelisk that stands in Passeig de Gracia. Turn right on Diagonal Avenue, walk one block and look for number 436. You need to cross to the opposite side of the street!

- If coming from SANTS-ESTACIÓ Train Station:
Very easy! Just catch the metro line 5 (blue) straight to 'Diagonal' metro station. From the metro stop walk up until the obelisk that stands in Passeig de Gracia. Turn right on Diagonal Avenue, walk one block and look for number 436. You need to cross to the opposite side of the street!


- If coming from FRANÇA ESTACIO:
Easy! Just catch the metro line 4 (yellow) from Barceloneta to Verdaguer metro station. Exit the metro &amp, turn right on Diagonal Avenue. Walk 3 blocks and look for number 436 is just on the right.
