We are located about 8 minutes walk from Plaza Cataluña -Barcelona’s main square - connecting to all night and day locations, tourist spots, and just besides Passeig de Gracia, the fanciest avenue with two of the most beautiful Gaudi’s buildings.   If you need any information about the city, our team at the reception desk has all the answers so you won’t get lost and will know your way around! We are familiar with all the city secrets and can tell you the best places to go to, as well as the best places to eat out.   NEIGHBORHOOD DESCRIPTION   Sant Jordi Alberg is located in the real heart of Barcelona. Discover the human statues, live musicians and jugglers walking down the Ramblas and all the secrets of the gothic area. Go shopping in the most fashion streets – Rambla de Catalunya and Passeig de Gracia. Enjoy the magic of the night life in the most famous local area of Barcelona – el Borne.   TYPE OF ROOMS   We have mixed dorms to be shared with 2, 3, 6, 8, and 10 people, equipped with comfortable mattresses and air conditioning/heater.   FACILITIES   With a huge common area, recently refurbished, with DVD’s, sound system, books, a guitar and cable TV –with more than a hundred channels- you can rest your feet on our comfy couches, chill and forget the hours that spent wondering our magnificent city.   If you prefer, you can use our kitchen -totally equipped, that has two fridges, an electric oven and a toaster, everything to feel up your necessities–. So all you need to bring are your own gastronomical skills. We offer also free tea and coffee to make your days warmer in the cold season.   Besides all of that, you also have laundry facilities, towels, a three-euro-breakfast, internet access free of charge, free lockers and free storage room, male and female showers and cleaners that work every morning, ensuring the facilities are spotless.   You cannot forget, however, that Barcelona is known for its nightlife. We regularly organize parties within our chain of hostels so a good night out is a surety. Welcome & ¡OLÉ!   CHECK-IN INFORMATION   The reception is open from 08:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. (Please note, if your arrival time is different from the reception hours, or you are changing your arrival time, e-mail or call us directly to confirm your check-in. Check your reservation and your arrival time as we need to be aware of any change or check-in outwit reception hours. Note that the booking system uses the 24-hour clock).   CHECK OUT INFORMATION   Our check out time is 10 a.m. but if your departure is later you are more then welcome to stay in our hostel during that day, we have luggage storage room available for you for no extra charge.     HOSTEL CONDITIONS   - CANCELLATION POLICY: cancellations are only accepted by e-mail 24 hours before arrival (check your reservation for the arrival time).   - BOOKING POLICY: we are a party youth hostel & due to some misunderstandings we would like you to take note that for family bookings, children under the age of 16, or adults over the age of 50 our recommendation is to book at our SANT JORDI SAGRADA FAMILIA. We will of course receive you happily here, only that we are aware it might not be suitable for your needs.   NEAR TO:   Just two blocks away from our Hostel you will find the main street Passeig de Gracia, where you can discover fancy restaurants, bars, shops and tourist attractions, like Casa Batlló & La Pedrera only 5 minutes walking distance. In addition to that we are located about 8 min. to Plaza Catalunya and the famous La Ramblas.

Wegbeschreibung

Our address is ROGER DE LLÚRIA #40, FLOOR 1º-2º.

The nearest metro station’s are Urquinaona (lines 1 and 4), Plaza Catalunya (lines 1, 2 and 3) and from Passeig de Gracia, (lines 2, 3 and 4), every subway station is about two or three blocks away from the Hostal, and therefore in walking distance.

- Coming from GIRONA AIRPORT:
Take the Barcelona Bus from the airport to Barcelona Nord Bus Station (final destination). Once there, you can either take a taxi to the hostel or you can come walking.

- If coming from EL PRAT AIRPORT (BCN’s main airport):
From the airport take the “Aerobus” to Plaza Catalunya. Walk down to the beginning of Passeig de Gracia, after two blocks turn right to Gran Via, then walk two blocks down the street and turn left to Roger de Lluria Street and look for number 40, where you can find us.

- If coming from SANTS-ESTACIÓ Train Station:
Take the metro line 3 and stop at Plaza Catalunya. Walk down to the start of Avenue Passeig de Gracia, after two blocks turn right to Gran Via, then walk two blocks down the street and turn left to Roger de Lluria Street and look for number 40, where you can find our hostel.

- If coming from FRANÇA ESTACIO:
Easy! Just catch the metro line 4 (yellow) from Barceloneta to Urquinaona. Exit the metro station, ones you get out you will see Roger de Lluria Street, and then walk up the street until you see number 40 where you can find our hostel.
