Ayora is situated in the beautiful Ayora valley. Around Ayora is stunning mountain countryside, perfect for walking, painting, cycling, horse riding or just driving around taking in the views. There are many lakes and rivers to fish, canoe or sail in. Also there are old castles forts etc. in the area. The fertile soil supports vines, cherries, almonds & of course olive growing. The area is especially known for producing honey. During the first 2 weeks of August is a genuine, real spanish bull run and the whole area goes into fiesta mode. There are also Award winning beaches at Gandia which are only an hours drive away.

Murpimar Hostel is located only 1 hours drive from Alicante and Valencia airports. Take the A31 towards Almansa. When you get to Almansa take the N330 to Ayora. Hostel Murpimar is located on the right hand side of the road about 500 yards from the petrol station that you pass on the left.
