Also we do provide Deluxe Rooms with attached Bathrooms at 16 CARPENTER STREET, SUMMER TAVERN.   Our tastefully-decorated 5-storey hostels are located in the heart of Singapore's tourist and shopping district, within very short walking distance from many of Singapore's best bars, restaurants, cafes, shopping and tourist attractions such as Boat Quay (1-minute walk away), Clarke Quay (3-5 mins walk), Chinatown (5 mins walk), Empress Place (2-4 mins walk), and many more.   The MRT (Singapore's subway that brings you to almost all other places of interest) is right at the end of our block, less than a 1-minute walk away. Orchard Road (Dhoby Ghaut) is 1 train stop (3 minutes) away.   At Summer Tavern we aim to provide you with an enjoyable stay (yup, fully air-conditioned) within a very affordable budget, as well as a great, fun place to meet (in-house beer lounge or open-air rooftop... your choice) and exchange notes with fellow travellers. Traveling by MRT
If travelling by MRT, alight at the Clarke Quay (North-East Line) station. Follow exit E from the station. Upon exit, on your left you will find a traffic light with a pedestrian crossing. Take the pedestrian crossing across Eu Tong Sen Street / New Bridge Road. You will find Carpenter Street on your right. Summer Tavern will be just around the corner. We're located beside the SAFRA Town Club.
