If you want to discover the hospitality of Belgrade and the city's charming and great night life, then Spirit Hostel is the perfect starting point for your discovery.   Our quiet yet centrally located hostel offers you relaxed and friendly atmosphere, great facilities and numerous free items. It prides itself on its levels of cleanliness and kind staff, who will make you feel like you're at home.   Facilities/services provided include a large common room with dining area, cable TV, DVD, music player, magazines, wireless internet access and 2 computers and much more.   We also have a fully equipped guest kitchen and a reception open daily from 8 am to 12 am where you can pick up maps and brochures and get advice and information from our helpful, friendly and English speaking staff.   We provide a laundry service and the possibility of airport/train station/bus station transfers to/from our hostel.   Smoking is allowed only in the common room and on the terrace. There is the possibility of parking on site for a small daily charge.

Wegbeschreibung

From main Train/ Bus station :

On foot: The train and bus station are next to each other. Follow the street across, named Balkanska, until you reach Terazije (big and busy avenue in the strict center, you will see hotel Moskva, from the right side on the corner of those two streets), and then go left. After a few minutes of walking, you’ll reach the main pedestrian street - Knez Mihajlova (???? ?????????). Follow the street, and about 100 meters before it ends, you will come to the crossroad with the street Kralja Petra. Go right, and follow the street until you reach big and busy street Cara Dušana (6th street that crosses the Kralja Petra Street). Cross the street, and then go left. The second street on the right-hand side is our street. Follow our street for about 200 meters and you will see a new, white-yellow colored building. Our hostel is in that building with entrance from the yard side, number 20b, on the 4th floor.

By public transport: Take tram ?2 towards Kalemegdan fortress, and get off at the 4th station, if you are starting in front of the Bus station, or at the 5th station, if you are starting in front of the Train station. The name of the get off station is Dor?ol- Bra?e Baruh (??????- ????? ?????), as well as our street. Right across the tram station, you will enter to our street - Bra?e Baruh. From there follow the foot instructions outlined above to reach our hostel.

By taxi: The ten-minute ride will cost you approximately 4 euros but be careful! Taxis are the easiest and most hassle-free way to get around in Belgrade – they are cheap and the drivers are usually not likely to rip you off. Always catch them on the street (or call them over the phone) and do not accept rides from cab-drivers waiting at the train station – those will rip you off.

From the airport “Nikola Tesla”:

You can take JAT bus to the Train station, where from you can follow the instruction from the train/bus station. The JAT bus from the Airport to the city center leaves on the hour every hour and costs around 2 euro).

If you want to take a taxi, the best way is to go Tourist information counter, and to ask them to call you a taxi. This way you will pay a regular price (about 10-11 EURO, which will not happen if you just take a taxi in front of the airport (in this case the price is a &quot,matter of agreement&quot, with the driver, from 20-30 EUR, or sometimes 40 EUR).
This option will take around 30 min.

If you are coming by car:

If you are coming on the highway E70 from Ljubljana (Slovenia), Zagreb (Croatia) or E75 Novi Sad - Budapest (Hungary) you will arrive to Belgrade from north-east. When you enter Belgrade and cross the bridge “Gazela”, follow the sign direction &quot,CENTAR&quot, on first turning right after the bridge, and you should enter a big boulevard &quot,Kneza Milosa / ????? ?????? &quot, street. Follow this boulevard up to the hill, you will cross Kralja Aleksandra Boulevard (you will see from the left side Old parliamentary building, big elegant building with green roofs). The street from this point is going down the hill and 4th street from here, go left to Džordža Vašingtona Street. Follow this street, and after the crossroad with Francuska Street, Vašingtona Street changes its name into Cara Dušana Street. 8th street from this crossroad to the right is our street Bra?e Baruh. Then you should follow the instructions described in chapter &quot,On foot&quot,.
