Interlaken is situated in the heart of the Bernese Oberland, between the lake of Thun- and Brienz, and very close to the three most famous mountains in the whole of Europe: Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau.

Walters Hostel in Interlaken offers excellent low cost accommodation in the Swiss Alps. Affordable bed and breakfast hostel for those who travel Switzerland on a budget.

- Children younger than 12 years old pay half price if they stay in the same room.

We have various guestrooms available, private double-rooms, private three bed-rooms and private four bed-rooms with free wireless-LAN internet (Wi-Fi).

The bathroom and toilet facilities are located adjacent to your room. On request we will serve you a traditional Swiss breakfast.

For an additional 7 SFr. per person we will serve you a continental breakfast in the morning.

By train:

Walters B+B is only a seven minute walk from Interlaken Ost train station. Once you have gotten off the train at Interlaken Ost, take the street that leads you between the Bank and the Coop shopping centre.

Continue straight ahead through 2 roundabouts (traffic circles).
You will find us on the right hand side 20 meters after the second roundabout.

By road:

A very well maintained network of roads connects Interlaken with Zurich, Geneva and Basel airports as well as all mayor European cities.
