Private parking for cars and bikes is available next to the hotel. All public areas and all rooms are non smoking. Howeve, there is a smoking corner in the hotel.   The agreeably flavored cuisine matched with carefully selected wines served in the comfortable ambiance of the dining room provides an exceptional experience.   Please note that the restaurant is closed on Sundays and Mondays from mid September to the end of April, and the rest of the year from Sundays at 18:00 to Tuesday morning. Breakfast is served in a buffet style.   Pets permitted with CHF5.00 charge per night.   American Express is now accepted by the hotel.   Breakfast and Taxes are included.   Reservation can be canceled 24 hours before arrival without costs.

By Car:
From Bern or Lucerne: leave the motorway at Exit 25 continue in the direction of Wilderswil / Grindelwald. On arrival in Wilderswil, take a left over the railway crossing towards the Schynige Platte Carpark, go past the Hirschen Guesthouse. Just after the narrow wooden bridge (about 50m) you will see the Steinbock Guesthouse.

By Train:
Take a train to Interlaken-Ost, Change for the Jungfrau train and get off at Wilderswil station. The hotel is a three-minute walk away.
Or, take a train from Bern to Interlaken-West. Change to the No 5 Bus to Wilderswil station. The hotel is a three-minute walk away.
The taxi from both Interlaken train stations costs about CHF17.-
