Welcome to our little combined hotel & hostel, a cosy and homely place in the middle of wonderful Soedermalm, two steps from “Sofo”(SOuth of FOlkungagatan), a young and hip neighborhood full of trendy bars and small scale designer boutiques. Only 10 minutes walk from the old town, 6 bus lines 50m away takes you anywhere in town, direct bus #53 to the Central Station takes 8 minutes and 2 subway stations 600 m away. However, you don’t have to go far. According to us, you have all you need right here on Soedermalm, except perhaps the Wasa-museum, but we can tell you which boat to take to get there.   We only have 10 rooms with a total of 33 beds, so we try to make time for all of our guests and simplify their journey in the town we know so well and love most of the time, despite the rising levels of pollution.   Beside from treating you as well as we possibly can, we also wish to treat the environment as gently as we possibly can, and we are now certified as ""Green Key"", a label that ensures us to be an environmentally friendly choice.   We have an organic breakfast buffet largely exceeding the choices of the typical continental hostel breakfast.   We can also offer the following:   All rooms are equipped with cable-TV (no porn), linen, towels, bath robes and free access to internet via wireless internet (WLAN) or our guest computer2. The rooms without private bath room have a sink.   * DVD, PlayStation2 and VHS is located in the combined breakfast room/lounge. * Free coffee and 36 varieties of tea around the clock. * Vendor machine available with candy, beverages, tooth brushes, organic and fair trade choices are available. * Guest kitchen with water boiler, micro, refrigerator, electric stow, laundry and ironing facilities - access with private key. * No curfew. * Private key to the front door. * 24-hour check in - Contact us 20 minutes before arrival so we can have personnel on site- the reception normally closes at 19.00. Late check in after 20:00 is charged with 50 SEK (approx 5.5EUR/7USD). * Non-Swedish Visa/MasterCards are subject to a 2% bank fee. * We're not connected to Amex or Diner's card systems. * Currency in Sweden: Krona or Kr or SEK (Swedish KRona). * Cash accepted: CAD, CHF, DKK, EUR, GBP, NOK, SEK, and USD . * Exchange rate at Renstierna: 20 SEK + 98,5 % of bank exchange rate. * Our telephone service/reception on call, is opened 24 hours a day: * No pets allowed. * Are you allergic to anything, or need special breakfast? Please let us know a few days before you arrive! * No security lockers in all the rooms yet, but a hotel safe if you need to store valuables. Wegbeschreibung

Renstiernas Gata 15, the crossing of Folkungatan and Renstiernas Gata on the island of Soedermalm.
The reception closes at 20:00! Please call the reception at +46 (0)8 615 21 35 some 20 minutes ahead of arrival so we can have personnel on site to open for you. Late arrival is charged with 50 SEK.

From Skavsta Airport (100km from Stockholm):
Bus coaches takes 80 min to Central Station.
One way ticket 130 SEK, return ticket 249 SEK.

From Arlanda Airport to Central Station (40 km):
Bus coaches takes some 40 minutes, one way ticket cost 99 SEK and a return ticket cost 179 SEK.
Train - Arlanda Express takes 20 minutes, one way ticket cost 220 SEK and a return ticket cost 420 SEK.
Taxi to the hotel/hostel costs 400-500 SEK.

Bus from Central Station to bus stop TJAERHOVSPLAN on Renstiernas Gata, 50 from Renstierna:
Bus 53 just outside the head entrance at the central station (close to the flight busses), marked 'Henriksdalsberget'. The ride takes approx 8-11 min. Bus stop 'Tjaerhovsplan' two bus stops after &quot,SLUSSEN&quot,. The hotel is on the other side of the street (700 m from the subway station 'Slussen').

Subway:
Subway to station 'Slussen', walk 700 m or take bus 2, 3, 53, 59, 71 or 76 two bus stops to 'Tjaerhovsplan',
...or subway to 'Medborgarplatsen', and then walk 4 blocks east on Folkungagatan until the crossing of Renstiernas Gata.

Car:
Drive to Soedermalm, follow the northern shore (Soeder Maelarstrand and Stadsgaardsleden) of the island to the far end east of stadsgaardsleden. Turn right on to Folkungatatan (Viking Line is on the left) and drive 450 m and turn right in the crossing of Renstiernas Gata. Parking in the crossing of Stadsgaardsleden and Folkungatan costs 40 SEK/24h.
