Constanta's harbour is the main Romanian port and the largest one on the Black Sea coast. Mamaia is the largest resort on the Romanian Black Sea, it is 8 km in length and only 300 metres in width. The beach season is at its best between mid May and late September, with average daytime temperatures of 25 to 30 degrees Celsius. The water is warm until late autumn.
