Rising Cock is a party hostel where travelers, international students and holiday makers come to relax and have fun. We offer you a different atmosphere and layout, it’s like staying at a mate's beach house, a place where you are always surrounded by friends and truly feel at home. Our dorms offer you a quiet, secure place to sleep after your long nights out, along with massive security lockers and 24 hour check-in, we have large common areas for whatever you may be interested in.

Come and enjoy our sunny terraces and living room complete with huge LCD cable TV and lots of comfy couches. You can even load up your Ipods from our huge library of music and movies and enjoy free, high-speed internet and WI-FI access in every room. We also have new kitchen facilities where you will enjoy your free, home cooked, all-you-can-eat breakfasts every morning complete with homemade lemon tea.

We are centrally located in the heart of Lagos just around the corner from great restaurants and bars and a 5-10 minute walk from Lagos' best beaches. You are not traveling to Lagos to have a boring time, so we invite you to stay at Rising Cock for some non-stop fun!

FROM THE BUS STATION:

Once you get off the bus head straight towards the marina. Take a right once you get to the main avenue (Avenida dos Descobrimentos). You will walk past a BES Bank, Repsol Gas Station, fish market and taxi stand. Keep on walking, you will pass a parking lot (your right hand side) and you will see a church up ahead to your right. Turn right at the church and you will see a pharmacy on the corner and a pedestrian walkway, head up the walk way until you come to another church ( you should see the police station up to your left). You'll cross a street and then continue up the pedestrian walkway, you will see RGB Club to your left and a bakery on the corner, turn left after passing RGB and make an immediate right. The hostel is up ahead on the right (#14) next to a small supermarket, just press the buzzer on the red door and reception will let you in.

FROM THE TRAIN STATION:

Walk through Marina and cross the pedestrian suspension bridge this will bring you to the main avenue Avenida dos Descobrimentos which you will cross and then take a left.
