OLá Apartamento dos Prazeres in Lisbon

If you are planning to arrive by train, you can choose between stopping at Oriente Station or Santa Apolonia Station.
From Oriente you can easily find the metro (Subway, Underground). Get the Red Line towards Alameda station. Once there, transfer to the Green Line in the direction of Cais Do Sodre. Get out of the train when you reach the Baixa-Chiado stop (the 6th stop) and follow the directions that say Chiado. Once you are back on the street, walk towards Praca Luis De Camões (it’s a plaza with a statue in the middle).
You’ll find the 28 tram stop. Catch the one that goes to Belem and ask the driver to let you know when the tram reaches the Sao Bento stop. Back in the streets, walk through Rua De São Bento until you find Rua Nova Da Piedade on your right side (takes 3 minutes). Make a right to get into that street and turn left at the first crossing you find. Welcome! This is where our front-office is located.
From Santa Apolonia Station:
Take the 28 tram and prepare yourself to enjoy a beautiful 20-30 minute ride. It’s the best way to start exploring the city’s vibrations – you can watch the charming old architecture, the faces of our people, sense the smells, noises and colors that make Lisbon an exceptionally exciting city. Get out at Sao Bento stop and follow the directions written above.
We can also provide a transfer, which is the safest way to get to OLá backpackers if you’re planning to arrive late at night.
On weekdays, from 8am to 8pm, we charge 20 Euros for 4 people max, 40 Euros for 5-9 people max and 65 Euros for 9-12 people max. The prices have to be negotiated if you need to transfer for more than 12 people. On the weekends we charge an additional 10 Euros. From 8pm to 8am, will charge an extra 20 Euros.
OLá Apartamento dos Prazeres is a large two floor apartment on the top floor of a beatiful building located in Praça das Flores, between Principe Real and Sao Bento, right next to Bairro Alto district.
You are welcomed always with a bottle of cold ”vinho verde"", Portuguese beer, tea, coffee, butter, cheese, chorico, portuguese tomato jam (its much more delicious than it sounds) and cookies ""linguas de gato"" (iit's called ""cat tongues"" but it is actually a kind of dry cookies with a eggs and lemon, very popular in Portugal)
You will also find in the apartment various CDs with typical Portuguese music to complete your cultural experience in Lisbon, and guides and tips to help your journey.
Wegbeschreibung
The most comfortable way to get at OLá Apartments is by taxi, especially for the travelers that arrive by plane. Taxis are not very expensive but be careful as they often try to charge more than they should when the client does not speak Portuguese. Usually the total (distance + baggage) taxi price stands between 10-15, depending on the traffic. Always ask for a receipt at the end.If you are planning to arrive by train, you can choose between stopping at Oriente Station or Santa Apolonia Station.
