Momotown Hostel in Krakow

Welcome finally! Or is it again...?   Both ways we are happy to have you on our site and cannot wait to say “hi” in person... Winter makes Momotown a rather quiet place, but hey, quiet does not mean boring, and we are here to shelter backpackers and other sorts of travellers. In addition to lower prices, we guarantee our beds are ready to be taken from very early in the morning, there is no rush with check-out and no problem with extensions.   Momotown is a byword for the quality hostelling, so expect all the amenities (to name a few: WiFi and computers, lockers by beds, equipped kitchen, car park, safe) which will make your stay the most comfortable.   Our reception, with the best Polish beer on tap, is still open 24 hours and provides all the necessary help. And of course we are in the centre of action, surrounded by famous bars, and stone’s throw from the biggest market square in Europe.   So, have a good trip and see you soon...   Ps. Please note that our private ensuite rooms are located at ulica Szeroka, which is around the corner (reception of hostel at ulica Miodowa 28).

Wegbeschreibung

From the airport take a shuttle train to the main train/bus station.

Walking from there takes approximately 15 minutes. You need to take Westerplatte St and get to the big Post Office building, then take a left into Starowislna St (not to confuse with Wielopole St), cross Dietla St and straight along Starowislna St get to Miodowa St. Now you only need to make a right – we are at number 28.

You can also take a tram no 13, 24 or 34 (direction Kurdwanow or Biezanow Nowy) and get off at the third stop (called Miodowa). Then turn right into Miodowa Street and proceed to number 28.
And - important thing - remember to validate a ticket (they can be bought from the machine at the tram stop).

Taxistand is located in front of the shopping centre, called Galeria Krakowska. Expect to pay around 15 PLN (c. 4 euro).
