Flamingo Hostel in Krakow
Afraid to come to Poland in winter? Well, perhaps you should be - it is very very cold! So what's the best solution? Flamingo Hostel of course! First of all, our hostel is very very warm - bring shorts and t-shirts!
But more importantly, Flamingo has such a perfect location that you are never very far from anywhere! Within a 3 minute walk you have seemingly endless supply of cafes, restaurants, pubs, and clubs. And if you do want to go further, you can get a taxi from 20 metres away, or a tram 100 metres away!
But of course a great location isn't the only thing you want from a hostel. What else do we offer?
FREE BREAKFAST? Tick. (No we won’t cook you a baked-bean omelette, but if you like grilled cheese and ham, and fresh vegetables and cereal and stuff, then you should get by.)
FREE LOCKERS? Tick. (With free padlocks provided of course!)
PLASMA TV AND DVDS? Tick. (Including a bunch of English-language channels and Eurosport.)
FREE ITNERNET? Tick. (WiFi in every room, as well as 2 computers free to use at any time.)
RUDE STAFF? Cross. (Although if that’s what you’re into they’ll do their best.)
HELPFUL STAFF? Tick. (4am wake-up call? No worries. Drinking buddy? Just try and stop them!)
GREAT LOCATION (i know I mentioned this, but just to recap)? Tick. (You really don’t find much greater – 10 second walk from the Main Market Square, 10 minute walk from the main station, 10 hour walk from the nearest ski slope!)
- If you’re looking for spectacular mountain views, go to Nepal.
- If you’re looking for a gorgeous beach-front location, stay away from Krakow.
- If you’re looking for a cheap, poorly-maintained hostel at the top of an elevator-less grey apartment block in the suburbs, contact us for a recommendation.
- If you’re looking for a cosy, welcoming, atmospheric hostel situated in a (probably) medieval building in the heart of a thriving European city, you’re in luck!
Alright, enough with the jokes. Now for the serious stuff:
(blank space)
Of course we’ll provide you with everything you need for a comfortable stay, but really what we want to do is help you have fun. So forgive us if we’re not so serious, because at Flamingo serious checked out long, long ago.
If you’re still reading now, then I’ll keep writing, here is some of the feedback we have NEVER received from our guests:
- “Boring hostel. Everyone went to bed before 10 and there was nobody to drink with!”
- “I was planning on staying 3 or 4 days in Krakow, but after the first day I was so bored I checked out early.
- “The staff didn’t speak English, were rude, and unattractive.”
- “Not enough flamingos painted on the walls.”
Want to read more of this senseless babble? Still not convinced about Flamingo? Well come to our hostel and meet us, we’ll make sure you’re not disappointed!
