Pirwa Backpacker Familiar in Cusco

Our hostel has a capacity of 27 people distributed in 12 rooms, we have got twins, dorms and four doubles en suite. All of them are very comfortable, some rooms are en-suite and some have shared bathroom, there is hot water 24h and the breakfast is included (continental). We also have lockers, safety box, laundry services, living room with a TV and DVD, access to internet for free and the possibility of using our lovely kitchen.

So, we take the challenge of offering comfort, cleanliness, hygiene, entertainment, quality service and friendly atmosphere!

Travel plans for Peru usually include popular tourist spots in Cusco (such as Inca Empire's Temple of the Sun, Church of Santo Domingo or Admiral's Palace's Archeological) and Machu Picchu. The Sacred Valley (the Pisac ruins and Ollantaytambo ruins are the main ones) which connects them is an important part of the Inca Empire.

Wegbeschreibung

The Airport is located in the southeast of the city about 15 minutes from the downtown. To get there is very easy, although the taxi rates are much higher than the ones from the city. Once the tourist arrives there, they will find lots of taxis offering their services. One can bargain the price of the rate, the price of transportation to any hotel in the downtown never go over 10 soles.

There are daily flights to Lima, as well as to Arequipa, Juliaca, and Puerto Maldonado. The connection flights abroad are very minimum. Right now all are made through Lloyd Aéreo Boliviano with La Paz as the main destination point, every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturdays.

By air: Domestic flights from Lima (1 hour) and from Arequipa (30 minutes) to Cusco.

By land: Lima - Arequipa – Cusco 1650 km (26 hours by car)
Lima – Nazca – Puquio – Abancay – Cusco: 1131 km (20 horas by car)
Puno – Cusco: 389 km (07 hours by car)

By train: Regular service Puno – Cusco: 384 km (10 hours).
