Get to know the place from which the womSpirit set out for international fame, conquering travellers’ hearts.The sun terrace is the big plus here – a brilliant out-door zone during daytime, it turns into bar area in the evening! The house is cosy and colourful, just like our staff. from WestbahnhofTake the exit “Gerstnerstraße” (you should be standing in front of a Chinese restaurant) – turn left and walk down Gerstnerstraße until you hit the main street (Mariahilfer Straße) – follow Mariahilfer Straße until no. 152 (corner Rosinagasse), turn right into Rosinagasse - Grangasse is the second street on the left.
from Wien Meidling (replacement train station for Südbahnhof until 2012)
Take the underground line U6 until the stop Westbahnhof. Follow the signs ",Äußere Mariahilferstraße", and walk Mariahilfer Straße until No. 152 (corner Rosinagasse). Take a right turn into Rosinagasse, second street on the left is Grangasse.
(from Südbahnhof) – is closed down from DECEMBER 2009 due to construction work!
As the Viennese Südbahnhof is closed down due to construction work from December 2009, all trains coming from the south terminate at Wien Meidling.
Take tram no. 18 to Westbahnhof. Left of the Westbahnhof train station is Äußere Mariahilfer Straße. Follow Mariahilfer Straße until no. 152 (corner Rosinagasse). Turn right into Rosinagasse - Grangasse is the second street on the left.
from Franz-Josefs-Bahnhof
Take tram no. 5 to Westbahnhof. Left of the Westbahnhof train station is Äußere Mariahilfer Straße. Follow Mariahilfer Straße until no. 152 (corner Rosinagasse). Turn right into Rosinagasse - Grangasse is the second street on the left.
from the Airport
Most conveniently is the Vienna Airport Lines shuttle bus to Westbahnhof (6 Euros). The cheapest option is the S7-Bahn or the Airportbus to Vienna and subway U3 to Westbahnhof from there (same ticket valid for both, 3 Euros). The ",City Airport Train", (CAT) is a few minutes faster than the S-Bahn, but costs 8 Euros.
