This is a family managed small private guest house with a friendly atmosphere. If you wish to experience Vienna, in a very authentic and local atmosphere then this is the place you should choose to stay. Most of the important sights are within a walking distance or easy to access by public transportation.   Our location is right in the heart of the main shopping street, Mariahilfer Strasse, in one of Vienna’s liveliest intersection. Easy to reach from any train station or from the airport. Please follow the directions as described to find us.   There are many places to eat, including coffee houses (from Starbucks to the traditional Viennese), bars, bakeries, restaurants, deli's and family style establishments in the area and we have found for this reason, that our guests prefer to go out for breakfast. Therefore we do not serve breakfast. We provide a kettle and mugs with coffee- and teabags in the rooms. There are also no kitchen facilities available.   The Naschmarket is only a 10 minute walk away and it is open 6 days a week. You will find fresh fruit and vegetable stands, international deli’s and food stalls, offering inexpensive meals. On Saturday’s there is also a popular “Flea market”. The Spittelberg area, noted for its student bars and artistic shops, is about a 5 minute walk away.   When you check-in, we offer a detailed outline as to what to do in Vienna, along with a city map, to help make your stay as easy and enjoyable as possible. We are also happy to offer advice on eating out, museums, using the public transportation, events.....etc.   Please note: We are located on the 3rd floor and there is no elevator therefore travelers with very heavy luggage or health problems will need to consider this when booking with us.   Free Internet access is available 24 hours/7days at the reception area. Fax and telephone services can be used at regular charges. We can take care of your laundry for a minimal extra fee.(12€/load) An iron, ironing board and hair dryer are available any time for free.   There are 3 spacious rooms, each with full private facilities, Cable TV (CNN) which can accommodate up to 4 people in a room. Each room has two double beds. Each room has air-conditioning with remote control, on requirement 10 €/day extra charge. *Please Note: If you would like to book a room for 3 or 4 people please contact HB's Groups Department, our DBLs are extandable for 3 or 4 persons with a spacious sofa in each room.   If you would like to book for 3 people, the price per person will be 39 Euros.   If you would like to book for 4 people the price per person will be 35 Euros.   Our prices include all taxes and a daily cleaning service. Prices can vary based on the season (Christmas and Easter) and if you book a room via a reservation system or travel agent.   Reservations should be secured by Visa or Mastercard, but we will ask you to pay us here in cash.   Please Note: It is very important that you confirm your arrival time with us in advance. We are managing a family style establishment, without a 24 hour reception. Thank you.   Cancellations should be made 72 hours prior to arrival, otherwise we will be obliged to charge your credit card with the total amount.

Wegbeschreibung

This is how you can find us, if you arrive at the Westbahnhof:

Option 1: Walk in the direction of the “town center” along Mariahilfer Strasse, which should take about 10-15 minutes.

Option 2: Take the underground line (metro) U3 for 2 stops to Neubaugasse, take the exit to Neubaugasse and we are located as you come out of the exit.

The Südbahnhof (Southstation): take the bus #13A to the stop called Neubaugasse. We are located, across the street, as you alight at the bus stop.

The airport:
Take the train to the city air terminal, change to the line U3 for 5 stops to Neubaugasse, take the exit at Neubaugasse.

The Franz-Joseph Bahnhof:
Take the streetcar/tram #5 to the Westbahnhof and walk in the direction of the “town center” along Mariahilfer Strasse, which should take about 10-15 minutes or you can take the underground line (metro) U3 for 2 stops to Neubaugasse, take the exit to Neubaugasse.

If you arrive by car, you will find several garages in our neighborhood, we suggest the one in the Apollogasse (Apollo garage) 3 house blocks away from us for 12€/day.
