Halden Hostel is situated in quiet surroundings at Tosterødberget School at Gimle right outside the centre of Halden. We offer reasonable accommodation in pleasant, modern 1-4 bedded rooms. Guest kitchen. Rural surroundings makes this a good choice for families with children.

“Halden Hostel” is divided into 3 buildings where one building is with only single rooms, another with double rooms and a third with dorms. Each building has bathrooms, self-catering and washing facilities.

The bus runs straight outside “Halden hostel” and it only takes 10 minuets to get into town.

The town of Halden has a lively harbour and the town's landmark, Fredriksten Fortress (1660), is one of the most visited attractions in Norway. Season: 22.06.-08.08.

Location
The Youth Hostel is situated in Tosterødberget skole in Flintveien at Gimle. If you arrive to Halden from E6, follow the road to Halden sentrum. When you get to the main street turn right towards the harbour and then take the first exit to the left. Follow signs to the youth hostel (vandrerhjem).
