Welcome to Bergen YMCA Hostel!
The hostel has a superb location in the city center, only one minute from the famous Fish Market, the old town of “Bryggen” and the funicular up Mount Fløyen. The hostel is a great starting point, whether you want to explore the city itself, or head on to see the some of the well-known fjords and glaciers in Western Norway. The hostel is within easy reach of shops, restaurants, attractions and public transportation (buses, ferries and trains).
The rooms are bright and spacious, with en-suite facilities and kitchenettes. We offer single, double, 4 and 6 bedded rooms. Budget dorms are available during summer. Other facilities: Internet Cafe, WI-FI, TV lounge and common rooms, fully equipped guest kitchen and a big roof terrace with an amazing view over the harbor! The hostel is open all year.
For your convenience, bed sheets are always included in the price at Bergen YMCA Hostel.
During high season we are open 24 hours. During low season (September- October) reception has limited opening times. Therefore it is important you email us your arrival time, then we can organize a self-check in for you. Unfortunately, we can not guarantee check in if you do not contact us, so we look forward to hearing from you

The train and bus stations are located a 7 minute walk away.From the airport take the fly-bussen and get off at the tourist information center. Cross the square towards the church (away from fish markets) and we are on the street leading off to the left hand side of the square.
