Hawaiian Monarch Hotel has been recently renovated and is under a new management company.   For a few more dollars a night you can enjoy the convenience and privacy of your own room. Hawaiian Monarch is a short 25 minute drive from Honolulu International Airport. To get here,take H-1 east, merge onto Nimitz Highway(92).Turn right onto Kalakaua Ave and left onto Pau St. Take a left onto Ala Wai Blvd., then left onto Niu Street.
