Your private bedroom will have a complete set of keys for your door, the apartment and the building. We have a king bed bedroom, a room with one queen bed or the master bedroom with 2 double beds, 1 double and 2 singles and 4 single beds.   We provide complimentary coffee, tea, fine linen, towels, blow dryer, iron, wireless internet, cable TV, DVD, washing machine and dryer in the apartment and a full chef’s kitchen with all the knives, cutting boards, pots and pans you would need.   We have 2 newly renovated bathrooms, one with an overhead spout which will make you feel like you are showering in a waterfall. If you have long hair you will love it.   Other features include washer/dryer in the apartment, dishwasher, microwave, Mr. Coffee, toaster over, granite countertops, cable TV, DVD, very fast wireless internet access.   We offer very low prices and a great value in part because our policy of only 7 nights of a reservation can be confirmed without a supplemantary payment.   You can not book more than 3 rooms total including this and any other sites combined without contacting us first.   The first 7 nights of a 28 night maximum stay are confirmed without extra payment. All nights after the first 7 nights and all nights of all additional guests on group travel must be paid in advance with in 72 hours of booking to reconfirm a reservation unless the reservation is with in 7 nights of your arrival. If the reservation is less than 7 nights before arrival the supplmentary payment must be made with in 36 hours.   7 day email notice of cancellation of your reservation is required to avoid a 3 night charge on you reservation.   All payments upon arrival must be made in cash. if you need to use a credit card please make arrangements to make a payment before arrival.   ***New Year*** all reservations that include Dec 31,2009 must be 7 nights or more no exceptions***

7 day email noticed of cancellation would be request to avoid a 3 night charge on you card   Payment of any balance due must be made in US currency only at check in.   Early Check in/Late Check out is $20 when available.   Check after 9PM is $20 as stated on our website and on Hostel World.   Check in between 1:45 AM and 6:30 AM is $40 when available eservation.

Please call us from the airport bus or train station just before you leave to come to us.

By Subway:

Take the Uptown B or C train to 116th Street then walk east 100 feet (35 meter)straight ahead to 242 West 116th St.

If you do not have a phone then you can go across the street to the Soap Opera Laundromat 251West 116th St. and call Luchiana (646)233-8445from there and she will arrange access for check in.

From the airport:

The Super Shuttle will take you directly to the hostel. From JFK Airport, you can take the Air train Jamaica then get the train to Manhattan and transfer at 7thAve and switch to the uptown B or C train to 116th St . We are at 242 West 116th St about 100 feet/ 35 meters from the subway station exit.

Some museums are within walking distance of us and &quot,Museum Mile&quot, is across the park. Columbia University is also 3 blocks to our east.

From Port Authority (Bus Station or Penn Station Amtrak):
Take the B or C train as described above.

Super Shuttle will take you directly to the hostel from the airports and back. The Olympia airport shuttle costs $11.00 and goes between all airports and the Port Authority, Penn Station and Grand Central every 20 minutes. From JFK Airport, you can take the A train to 59th street and transfer for the B or C to 116th Street.

From Grand Central:

Take the S train to Times Square and change to the C uptown to 116th Street.

From Port Authority:

Take the C uptown to 116th Street.

From Penn Station:

Take the C uptown to 116th Street.

There are plenty of restaurants and bars in the area or take the train a few stops downtown to the trendiest part of the Upper West Side.
