Truelove Antique & Guesthouse in Amsterdam

In the historical center of Amsterdam, the Jordaan, and just minutes walking distance from central station, the main shopping center, and night life and tourist attractions. Truelove is centrally located and caters for travelers who want to explore the busy and lively city of Amsterdam and like to stay in more tranquil surroundings .You can find ""Truelove"" in the Prinsenstraat 4 between the Keizersgracht and the Prinsengracht and in our other building just round the corner from the shop, close to the Noordermarkt. Come and have a look in our shop for all your presents to bring home. Our room is decorated in a modern style and is non smoking. The room has cable TV, digital clock, radio, coffee and tea making facilities and a double bed. Breakfast is not included in our rate and is not served in the guesthouse. Our next door neighbors on #2 and our neighbors opposite on #1 are both local breakfast, lunch and dinner cafe's where you can choose from just a croissant and coffee/tea to a full English or American breakfast. Giving you a choice of breakfast venue within 10 meters from where you sleep.

We require your travel itinerary (flight number and airline code, train number, departure city and arrival time here in Amsterdam) this is to insure you that someone is here to check you in upon arrival as we are not always in the house. We arrange our schedules around arrival time of guests.
If you take the train from the airport to Amsterdam central station. Costs approx. 4 Euro per person. This one departs from Schiphol every 15 minutes. Once you arrive in Amsterdam you can either walk to the guesthouse which takes 7 minutes (see directions underneath) or take a small local bus called the &quot,STOP en Go&quot,. This one departs outside central station. Ask the driver to drop you of on the corner of the Prinsengracht and Prinsenstraat as the bus has no formal stops

If you decide to take a taxi from the airport or central station take a TCA BLOKBAND taxi to avoid being overcharged and driven all over the city. The cost of a taxi from the airport is about 50 to 55 euros and from central station approx. 10 euro. You must tell the taxi driver from the airport to go via Rozengracht/ Keizersgracht and for drivers from central station via Brouwersgracht/Keizersgracht and than take the 1st right into the Prinsenstraat.
To walk to the house: Going out of the station to your right and walk till you see the 1st canal on your left which is the Singel Canal. Go onto this one and walk till you see the 1st small canal called Blauwburgwal on your right. (it is just a narrow one) go into this one and walk straight on into the Herenstraat and than Prinsenstraat. Will just take 7 minutes
