YHA Hamilton Microtel Hostel-Backpackers in is rather unique for its variety and choice of rooms. You can have a backpacker dorm mix with a group, have a backpacker single bedroom, fully lockable to yourself OR upgrade for a small charge to a single private bedroom with your own sky TV and share ensuite with only one other room. If traveling with a partner we have the double backpacker’s rooms which are just great for couples, own sky TV. If you’re traveling and want to indulge yourself you can book a studio s/c with air conditioning and your own ensuite. Microtel is a popular place clean and friendly. There is a common lounge/dining area with internet kiosk, sauna and guest laundry. Within easy walk to town and on bus route. The famous Waikato River is just a 2 minute walk away and a great place for walks or jogging or taking a bike ride. Catch a bus and go to the Hamilton Gardens and enjoy the magnificent world gardens and the large rose gardens. Hamilton night life is a short 10 min walk to Sky Casino and bars.
