The hotel is located within walking distance from several downtown attractions.   The hotel is designed for the independent traveller who seek a quiet and economical place to sleep or have as a base while working, enjoying and exploring the natural wonders of Cancun. Public transportation, such as taxis or buses, is available just outside of the hotel or a few steps away.   Hotel Tankah Cancun features rooms with air conditioning, private bathroom, color TV and telephone.   Also available for our guests, at no additional charge, are: - Safe deposit boxes. - Luggage storage. - Private parking area.   Services that are nearby include: - Banks. - Supermarkets. - Drugstores. - Mercado 28, the most visited handcraft center in town. - Plaza Bonita, a colorful shopping center. - Several restaurants that serve traditional Mexican and international food.   Children under 12 stay free sharing their parents room. From the bus station , (15 min) as you exit the bus station walk 200 meters to your right until you reach Avenida Yaxchilan. Here you turn left and continue until Avenida Sunyaxchen. On Avenida Sunyaxchen, turn right and continue until you pass the post office. Keep going until you reach Plaza Bonita, a colorful shopping center. You should continue towards your right on Avenida Tankah (direction to Avenida Chichen Itza). The Hotel Tankah is on your right, in front of Plaza Bonita.
