The original house that today is the home of Hotel Casa Noble is known not only for its beauty but for its legend of love that lives in its ambiance. It has been told that in this house lived a beautiful young lady, named Doña Amelia Zúñiga de la Cueva, engaged to be married to an officer of the Spanish Kingdom who, before sailing to Spain promised to return and marry her.   The owner built a fountain dedicated to the Virgin Mary, which depicts a beautiful medallion with the emblem of ""Ave María Regina"". This fountain is decorated daily with exotic tropical flowers brought from the owner’s farm.
