We are the best hostel in town and enjoy a superb location just steps from the main beach in Puerto Vallarta (playa de los muertos) where all the action takes place. At Vallarta Sun Hostel there is no need to spend on buses or taxis, everything is within walking distance, just around the corner you will find: restaurants, coffee shops, bars, discos, grocery stores, the pier (water taxis to yelapa, etc), just grab your towel and hit the beach!   Our hostel is clean, safe, secure, trustworthy, fun and cheap!   Facilities include a free continental breakfast, a fully equipped kitchen, purified water to drink, dining room, cosy lounge area, wi-fi internet access, a luggage storage facility, personal lockers, cable TV, hammocks and long chairs, table tennis, darts board and a library.

From the airport or bus station just take a taxi or the public bus it says tunel (means tunnel) on the windshield, get off at the last stop and just walk towards the beach (2 or 3 blocks) then take a left on the main street olas altas, after a couple of blocks we are just half a block to the left (same street as the pier) 169 francisca rodriguez st.
