The city is the seat of the Solidaridad municipality.   The coast and lowlands of the peninsula were still heavily populated with the descendents of the fallen civilization when the Spaniards arrived. Tulum, less than an hour south of Playa, was the last Mayan outpost and there are plenty of small ruins in Playa del Carmen.   Activities: scuba diving, fishing, snorkers, ruins, bars, night life, cenotes and natural water park.

Take the 5th avenue until you reach street 8, we will be on the left hand side, in about 20 meters, between 5th and 10th avenues.

Located 4 blocks from the ADO Bus station on Calle 8 between 5th Ave and 10th Avenue. From ADO, go four blocks to Calle 8, turn left and walk 20 meters, we are located on left above Los Secretos Restaraunt Lounge.
