Our building itself is an architecture jewel from the beginning of the XIX century, declared National Historic Heritage by the National Anthropology and History Institute of México. We have capacity for 30 guests, hot water showers, restaurant / bar, fully equipped kitchen for guest use, refrigerated grocery storage, dinning room, leisure room and reading area, besides comfortable rooms with individual lockers and independent balcony for each room. We also have internet service, coffee, drop off laundry, information and tourist services, 24 hour security staff, soda spending machine, and baggage storage.


We are located right in the heart of the &quot,Centro Histórico&quot, (Historic Downtown) of Guadalajara, the second largest city in the country, full of exuberant colonial beauty. We are 100 meters from Palacio de Gobierno (Government Palace) y la Plaza de Armas (Arms Plaza). Within the same area you can find cultural and touristic attractions of great importance, such as Palacio de Gobierno, Plaza de Armas, Catedral, the Museo de Historia Regional, the Plaza Tapatía, the San Juan de Dios popular market, the Degollado theater, the Instituto Cultural Cabañas, Plaza de la Liberación, Plaza de los Mariachis, Mercado Liberad, San Agustín church, among others, all to which you can get there by walking.

Wegbeschreibung

We are located in Maestranza St. #147, a block away from Juárez avenue, 2 blocks from 16 de Septiembre avenue, and 3 blocks from Calzada Independencia, all these main traffic arteries of the city, therefore transportation is as comfortable as possible. Also, we are 500 meters away from the &quot,Plaza Universidad&quot, station of the Guadalajara Subway, which goes across the city from north to south and three fourths of the city from west to east.

Coming from the airport:

The most convenient way to get to Hostel Guadalajara Centro from the airport is taking a cab, but the service is expensive. There is a cheaper option to that, which is a collective taxi van that departs every 15 minutes approx. It will take a little longer because it drops everybody off, but it is worth the wait in price. If you are traveling in group, most likely the first choice will be the best one.

Coming from the bus station:

Taking a cab will always be the most comfortable option, but not the cheapest. From the bus station you can also take the subway. There is a bus there that takes people to the first subway station, which you can take all the way to &quot,Plaza Universidad&quot, station, 500 meters. From the hostel.
You can also take the public bus. The red bus called &quot,Cardenal&quot,, will drop you off one block away from the hostel, right in the corner of Maestranza and Madero.
