Dar Jameel, meaning the House of Beauty and Grace, is an oasis of peace and tranquility, an intimate and relaxing space amid the bustling life of the medina.

Lovingly restored and renovated by its owners, Dar Jameel provides elegance and grandeur, combined with efficiency and comfort .

The house is built on five levels with eight large bedrooms leading from a central courtyard.
There are four en-suite rooms and four standard rooms (private external bathroom).Suites are priced according to the size of room, facilities (wi-fi and a/c) and view. The whole house is richly decorated in traditional Fes style, rooms contain magnificent stucco ceilings, four poster beds and traditional divans.

There is a large terrace, where a relaxation room with 360 degree views to Spain, the Bay of Tangier and the medina, is located.

A generous breakfast is included in the price of rooms. Local, organic food is used whenever possible.

Dar Jameel can provide accommodation for up to 16 people.

From the International Port of Tangier take a blue petit taxi and ask for Dar

Baroud, this should cost between 20-30 Dirhams and take under 10 minutes. As you

pass the gateway to the Hotel Continental ask your driver to turn immediately left

into a small square and stop. Descend. Cross the small square and take the steps

down and continue straight ahead into Rue Mohammed Bergach. Dar Jameel is

No.6, the third doorway on the right. Alternatively, leave the Port on foot, turn right

and second right again, walk up the hill, carry on straight ahead entering the

Medina through a small archway, after 5 minutes you see the entrance to the Hotel

Continental on your right. Proceed as outlined above. The walk from the port takes

15-20 minutes. From the International Airport take a taxi to Dar Baroud, Medina,

or a bus/taxi to the Port and proceed as above.
