Even if your balance due is in USD, upon arrival you shall pay in Cuban Convertible Pesos (CUC) cash, in the same amount as appears in your unpaid balance in USD, independently of any domestic or international exchange rate between both currencies.

Once you have cleared customs and collected your luggage, take an official cab to the booked house. The 20 km journey from Havana International Airport to the booked homestay normally takes about 30 minutes. The average ride to the city costs $25 - 30 CUC.

Inform in advance your arrival details to Havana Homestay, this way your host will be prepared to receive you at home on time.
