It is considered to be the largest park in Zagreb. Delight in two pavilions that were constructed in 1843 – the Bellevue Pavilion and the Echo Pavilion (called Echo thanks to its highly unique acoustics). The whole complex is a maze of flower gardens, wooded areas, and man made lakes. You will also find a small Zoo with a variety of animals.

Reservations must be guaranteed with a valid credit card. Provided credit card will be pre-authorized and charged on arrival day.   Full name and surname must be on reservation. Credit card holders name is obligatory and must be the same as guest name on reservation.

Maksimir Hotel is about 3.2km (2 miles) east of the center is Zagreb's biggest park and popular among families, dog walkers, and couples going for a stroll. Opened in the late 18th century, it has five lakes and a cafe, and it houses the Zagreb City Zoo. The park is easily accessible via tram (no. 11 or 12 from Trg Jelacica) and it's free (except for the zoo). Exit the tram at the Bukovacka stop, which is steps from the entrance.
