Hobo Bear is in a perfect spot in a typical downtown street, dating from the beginning of the last century and named after the renaissance painter Medulic. As renaissance was all about the “Man”, Hobo Bear is all about its guests, whether they are travelers, backpackers, explorers, modern day hobos, adventurers or simply people looking for some fun.   Due to its great location in the city center, you can find everything a traveler might need - pharmacies, ATMs and exchanges, a post office, supermarkets, an open market, as well as places to eat for everyone’s taste - close to the Hobo Bear.   Not only was the location carefully chosen to fit the travelers’ needs, but Hobo Bear is also “traveler-tailored” from the inside. In an authentic 100-year-old building we created a unique place with a modern soul where you start feeling at home from the moment you come through the door. We like to say it is big enough to gather a party team, yet small enough to offer a cozy, warm and friendly atmosphere.

Wegbeschreibung

From the main station (Glavni kolodvor):

When you exit the train station you will see a tram stop right in front of the station. Take a tram number 6 towards “Crnomerec” (it goes to the left if you are looking from the station) for three stops. You don't have to buy a tram ticket because the tram transportation is free within this zone. At the third stop (Frankopanska Street) get off the tram, continue to walk in the same direction for about 100 meters then turn left to Meduliceva (Andrije Medulica) street. We are at number 4.

You can also walk, which takes about 15 minutes. When you leave the station, cross the tram tracks and continue walking straight until you reach the main square (Trg bana Jelacica). Then turn left across the square to Ilica Street. Walk straight for approximately 500 meters and turn left to Meduliceva (Andrije Medulica) street.

From the main bus station: (Autobusni kolodvor)

When you exit the bus station you will see a tram stop right in front of the station. Take a tram number 6 towards “Crnomerec” (it goes to the left if you are looking from the station) for six stops. You can buy a tram ticket at a newsstand (at the bus station), the price is 8 Kuna (about 1 Euro). At the sixth stop (Frankopanska Street) get off the tram, continue to walk in the same direction for about 100 meters then turn left to Meduliceva (Andrije Medulica) street. We are at number 4.

From the Airport:

There is a bus that goes every 30 minutes from Zagreb Airport to the main bus station (Autobusni kolodvor). It costs 30 Kuna (approximately 4 Euro). From there follow the directions above. If you are taking a taxi expect to pay about 200 Kuna (about 28 Euro, 20% extra at night and on Sundays). Make sure to ask the taxi driver for the price up front.
