In the Finca El Cielo, a combination of organic farm and hotel, our guests find at the same time piece, quiet and spiritual freedom. The impressive sight over the Cordilleras of the Andes invites to surrender yourself to the magic of the beautiful landscape, to leave the urban stress behind you and to relax and revive your soul within a invigorating and inspiring environment. The flavour of the tropical Andean flora, the diversity of the birds, flowers and fruit trees encourage relaxing and daydreaming.

It is our concept to combine natural materials, especially the Guadua (tall bamboo), which characterizes the hotel, as well as the interior produced by local artisans with best ease and comfort. All our guestrooms dispose of an ample and modern bathroom with warm water. They dispose of beds of 2 meters in length, which is above local average, the width of the double beds is 1.60 meters and of the single beds 1 meter.

The beds are equipped with excellent orthopaedic mattresses for a recreative and deep sleep. If you feel like watching television or DVDs we offer you our small lounge, we also provide numerous games as well as swings and toys for children.

We also offer you a refreshing swimming pleasure in our natural swimming pool, which is unique in the area and where you can relax and recover from your trips.
From time to time we organise an evening with music of the Andes (local musical group with guitar, wind and percussion instruments), beside a campfire, with a Canelazo (local energy drink), to make your stay an unforgettable experience.

Natural swimming pool:
In our natural swimming pond “lake of paradise” you find peace and nature and the possibility of taking a refreshing bath. From the hotel the “Milky Way” leads to this oasis of the Finca El Cielo. Within the typical hilly scenic landscape the tourist can relax and bath in the sun in canvas chairs or give new life to himself with one of our delicious cocktails. We also organize swim and aerobic courses upon request.

SPA
We are planning a SPA Centre, in which we want to offer services as sauna, Turkish bath and massages (until 2010).


In our restaurant we offer you typical dishes from the region as well as a small choice of international dishes.

How to find us:

San Agustín is situated 520 km south of Bogota, it can be reached by Bus (Coomotor, Taxi Verde, Cootranshuila), charter flight or by private car.

The Finca El Cielo is situated 3 km from San Agustín, you can reach it through the paved
“Via El Estrecho / Obando” street, the entrance, an ample portal, is on the left.
