University Bed and Breakfast in Montreal

The Bed &amp, Breakfast has Central Location, located on famous Prince Arthur Street, near McGill University, just 5 min walking distance to downtown core, easy walking access to Festival sites, Mont-Royal park, cafes and restaurants on St-Catherine, St-Laurent and St-Denis streets &amp, Many More!

You can choose to stay in either a &quot,Room&quot, or an &quot,Apartment Suite&quot,:

Each &quot,Apartment Suite&quot, has the following features:
Delicious Breakfast
Either two single beds or one double bed
An additional (double) sofa bed
32&quot, Plasma television, DVD Player, IPOD Radio
Telephone (free local calls)
Free High Speed Wireless Internet
Small kitchen with fridge and stove (cooking is allowed, certain restrictions apply)
Independent Entry
Private Bathroom
Each suite has a different color theme: Yellow, Red, Blue, Beige and Brick Suites

We also have &quot,Rooms&quot, with shared bathroom available.

Rooms with shared bathroom are on the second floor of a two floor apartment. There are two rooms on either side of a large bathroom in the center. There is a double bed, cable television and telephone in each room. There is a large lounge and kitchen on the first floor.

All suites, rooms and common areas are NON-SMOKING. There is coin operated laundromat in basement.

Breakfast is served in the lounge with tea/coffee, orange juice, cereal, bagel, croissant, cream cheese and jam.

We are located near University Street, at the quiet end of Prince Arthur Street which is one of favorite Montreal spots full of sidewalk cafes and bring your wine restaurants. Train station, downtown shopping malls, Chinatown, festival sites and Montreal’s biggest green space (Mount Royal Park) is all within 10-15 minutes of walking distance. Apartment was built in 1921 with exposed brick walls and fireplace.

There is free parking on the street, or we have indoor garage space for $15 per night.

Please note:
1. All currencies are in Canadian Dollars and INCLUDE continental breakfast.
2. Please also add 17.37% tax to the above rates.
3. There is a charge of 20 CAD for the third person per night which can be paid directly to us upon check-in, in case you have a third person along.

Reservation:

1. The charge for the first night only shall be put on your credit card at the time of making a reservation.
2. If cash payment is desired, we can issue you a refund on your credit card at the time of check-in and you can pay the complete amount in cash.
3. Other forms of payment: you can also mail a cheque (Canadian or American Dollars) in advance (30 days or more) or do a bank transfer (15 days or more).
4. You can also pay the balance of your bill with a credit card at check-in but we add 3.5% credit card fee. Canadians can pay with Interac without any additional charges.
5. Please also indicate the number of persons and or preference (or absolute necessity) of two single beds or double bed etc.

Check-In: Check-in is from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm.
IMPORTANT: (Checking-in before 3:00 pm or after 6 pm may be OK but you have to write/call us in advance to make an arrangement since our office closes at 6:00 pm).

Check-Out: Latest Check-out is 11:00 am.

Please note our cancellation policy:

1. All cancellations are subject to a $25 (Cdn.) charge per room reserved.
2. When canceling more than 15 days: Your deposit minus cancellation fee is refunded.
3. With 15 days notice or less, (and more than 24 hours) we will give you a credit of your deposit less cancellation fee ($25), which can be used towards future stay.
4. With a notice less than 24 hours from your arrival, we charge $25 plus the first night of the stay, without possibility of receiving the amount for the night as credit.
5. Cancellations after check-in: We have to be notified at least 24 hours in advance for any credit towards future stay.

From the Airport

Take the Aero Bus ($12 ). Get off at University Street Stop. From here you can either walk along university street (4 Blocks) to get to the University Bed and Breakfast or take a taxi (Less than $10)


From the CN Rail Station

Take the University Street exit. You can either walk along university street (4 Blocks) to get to the University Bed and Breakfast or take a taxi (Less than $10)

From US Border

Take Highway 10 and stay on it until the very very end, (Highway changes name to &quot,Bonaventure Auto route&quot,, and then becomes &quot,University Street&quot,), stay on University Street, cross Sherbrooke St and then Milton St, and then make a right turn on Prince Arthur street. You will see our sign on the left.

Within Canada

Take Highway 720 (also known as Ville Marie Expressway) going into downtown Montreal.

If you are coming from the West: Take exit number 4, stay in the left lane, and then follow the &quot,Rue University&quot, street signs. Drive north on University Street (towards the mountain) past Ste-Catherine St, Sherbrooke St. and Milton St. Turn right on Prince Arthur. We are on the left.

If you are coming from the East: Take University Street exit and follow the &quot,Rue University&quot, street signs. Drive north on University Street (towards the mountain) past Ste-Catherine St, Sherbrooke St. and Milton St. Turn right on Prince Arthur. We are on the left.
