Powder Mountain Lodge is the best place to stay if you want to experience mountain life Fernie-style! Right in Fernie's downtown area, it’s convenient for your night and day escapades. Everything you need is a stone throw away! We have spacious and clean dorms, privates or even hotel suites if you're travelling in a big group!

Our lovely staff can help you arrange activities, whether that’s helping you get your snow gear sorted and shuttled up to the mountain in winter or advising on the best fishing or biking spots in the summer…Hey, they’ll be itching to get out there with you!

If you’re looking for some r ‘n’ r, no worries, the Fernie lodge is set for you. We’ve got an outdoor pool and huge patio for when it hits 30 degrees in summer or huge hot tub for soaking the aches after a day on the mountain. Big bright common areas, kitchen, and our pool table all make it easy to meet like minded people and sit round the fireplace talking about the day’s adventures.

You know the kinda place you go for 2 nights and end up staying 2 weeks…or more? That’s Fernie for you...

VERY IMPORTANT Please note: Private rooms are sold per room, not per person. eg. Private room with 1 Queen bed is sold as $80 CAD total with up to 2 people in it, Private room 2 Queen beds sold as $100 CAD for up to 4 people.

Powder Mountain Lodge is located in Fernie, BC. one hour drive East of Cranbrook, right on Highway 3, or a three hour drive from Calgary. Private shuttle services are available 1-(250) 423-4023 and through Greyhound bus services. Our address is 892 Hwy #3 (corner of 9th St.) Fernie, BC. We are 50m away from the Greyhound bus drop off, just head through the Chrysler car park right to our front door. Fernie Alpine Resort is a 5-10 minute from our hotel and a shuttle stops in front of our hotel. Late arrivals after 11PM must make prior arrangements with the hotel to access their room.
