Valhalla is an organic fruit tree orchard located in the center of Salt Spring Island. We are between the Vesuvius Bay and Long Harbor ferry terminals. We offer for sale 100% pure organic unpasteurized frozen apple juice 1 litre jug $3.00 Salt Spring Island is a kayakers' paradise, play a game of tennis (outdoor) right at the end of our road just a leisurely 10-minute walk. Enjoy a 1st run movie at our historic Fritz Cinema Central just kitty corner from the tennis courts.   Take a 30-minute walk or bike to the famous Saturday Market in the Park (April- October) located in Centennial Park close by in downtown Ganges. Check out the ArtCraft Summer Sale (June- September) or any one of the many galleries & shops or restaurant & pubs on the island.   When you feel like a swim take your pick from The New Pool, Vesuvius Bay Beach(ocean) or St Mary's Lake (freshwater) all very close to Valhalla. We are also near to all other service providers including the Mary Hawkins Library.   Valhalla has 3 private & unique cedar sleeping units to choose from. Book your unit & escape to sunny Salt Spring Island this year.   -The L1 Luna Lounger has a 1Double Bed. A kitchenette with a 2 burner stove-top, mini- fridge & sink with hot & cold running water. There is a toaster & coffeemaker in this unit. It also comes with dishes, glassware, pots, pans and utensils. A small 2 person dining table. The covered deck has 2 deck chairs & a table.   -The K2 Karma Cottage is located in a field of organic comfrey it also has 1 double bed, coolers, dishes, glassware & utensils on hand for your use at no charge. Its large opening windows overlook a seasonal pond. Come in through the Dutch door off a covered deck that faces southeast.   -P3 The Playhouse is a cute little cabin with 1 double bed. A small desk and coolers, dishes, glassware & utensils are also on hand for your use. The view from the opening gingerbread style window is to the southeast fields & forest. The large covered deck with chairs & table overlooks a seasonal pond. We have an outdoor style cedar composting toilet, with power, hot & cold running water. Valhalla is a rural farm whose only water supply is a drilled well, therefore showers are NOT available here. There are 2 laundrymats in town with coin operated showers, a gym, and the new swimming pool. We do supply basins & jugs with small towels & facecloths for an in room wash-up. The water here is ok to drink as is run through an ultraviolet filter system.   Sorry but we have a no pet policy.   And no smoking inside any unit. Final payment is required upon check-in on day of arrival.   A 2 night minimum stay is also required.   We accept Visa, MasterCard & Cash.
