Wegbeschreibung
To get to Petra from Amman:The cheapest is the local bus which also takes the longest. These go from the Wahadat bus station to the south of Amman. There’s no timetable, the buses just go when they are full - there are about 4 or 5 a day, though fewer on Fridays. This should cost you 3 JD, and it can be quite fun, though cramped.
A taxi is another option, though definitely the most expensive – roughly 50-80JD. If you want a cheaper option you can often find a taxi at the Wahadat bus station along with some people who will share the cost.
To find Saba’a Hotel:
If you arrive on the local bus, you’ll stop at the station in the town centre, just send us a message and one of us will meet you. Otherwise, follow the map below and you can’t get lost! It's about a 5 minute walk.
If you arrive on the JETT bus, you’ll stop at the coach park down the hill near the gates to Petra. Again, give us a call/text and we’ll come and meet you or jump in a taxi up the hill (cost 1JD). You can walk it, but with bags the hill is a bit of a killer.
Alternatively, if you want to get straight into Petra you can call us and we’ll come and pick up the bags and take them to the hotel and you can check in later in the day.
